The BBC reported at 9pm tonight on the Net that their home game to Plymouth tomorrow has been postponed due to safety concerns about the ground.

The Macclesfield official says (at about the same time) that the EFL did not ask the club to play the game with no fans attending.  Therefore, as far as Macclesfield are concerned (or rather the owner) the game  
Is going ahead as planned!  

The latest report from Macclesfield also refers to the game being called off,  Therefore, the club appear to be overriding the EFL postponement!

Maybe they want to try and avoid the further 4 point deduction, which is currently suspended.

With a formal EFL postponement, or the club attempting to play the game, it does not look good for the club or the further points loss.  Maybe Argyle players will not travel anyway.

Our game on Boxing Day must also be in serious doubt.

What a sorry state of affairs....f@ck the club and it's kn@b of an owner, again it's the fans that feel the brunt of complete mismanagement and incompetence...
Feel for the fans, they must be sick of all the sh!te they're being dealt at the moment..

Plymouth not travelling due to EFL statement . Game off . More points deduction. Basically we are safe from relegation as everyone else will be also .Just make sure we are well prepared for next season .

I'll be peeved if another town game is off.  I pay for ifollow and when the replays take place on a Tuesday, it's too late for me to watch. Am I a glutton for punishment or what?

EFL doing the right thing here there's no way they should allow a game to go ahead in a ground without a safety certificate.

Makes you wonder how long the points of failure found at inspection had been in effect though, it is worrying.

Guess that's the extra 4 points gone.

Deffo right to take that view Rob, but I guess Macc are likely to get further deductions or thrown out (eventually) if this shambles continues?

The simple fact is that if  as is likely Macca go then no one goes down due Bury's  demise only one club was to be relegated anyway.
