That's another potential manager we won't attract. ..for god's Fenty, get your finger out your ar$e and appoint someone before all we are left with is slim pickings from the failed managers list!!..

I wouldn't argue with you on that.
I left Grimsby 41 years ago, I have never been tempted to change my allegiance, the only times I have ever been in Portman Road was when Town were the visitors but it's wearing thin. I couldn't support any other team so it might well be football as a whole that has to go!

I left town 19 years ago to live over the river, I've argued, debated with yorkies about how Grimsby was bigger than Hull, fishing wise and football too but now I can argue no more.
I too couldn't support any other club than GTFC...so maybe golf will be take over now and I'll walk away from football altogether...kills me to say but I'm at the end of my tether.

All sorts of conspiracy theories in Bristol about Coughlan. If it's announced tomorrow it certainly seems like he's been talking to Mansfield behind his employers back.

Coughlan is based in Sheffield but he has spoken out about needing investment at Bristol Rovers. I wonder if he enquired about our vacancy as a way of getting nearer home? Not saying he would come as our budget constraints are not going to be attractive.

So we're now fighting Mansfield, along with Leyton orient and others for a manager.

I feel the same had a season tickets upto 2 seasons ago after 25 years of watching town regularly even going to every game in the winless run under Woods home and away I've just about lost interest. Been to half the home games this year and I won't be rushing back.

I think from what JT has said, Fenty's policy on the new manager is he's just going to suck it and see..... wonder if he was talking about that finger you've mentioned NBM?
