Ah my bad for some reason I was giving Limbrick the credit for the Newport home game in the cup!
Cannot see Tisdale being interested in wanting the Town job sadly. He has earned a better job than us for his next club over the course of his managerial career.
Probably got a decent payoff at MK as well so can take his time if he wants to come back into management.

But 7 days ago, he was popular and most people were calling to give him time because the performances had improved. It's only since Saturday that the majority on here have wanted him gone.
Well he's part of a management team that has seen GTFC score 1 league goal at home since August. It's hardly compelling evidence.

You're only as good as your last game. Should we come away from Carlisle with a resounding victory, the mood will swing full circle to 'maybe we should give him a chance' from a lot of people!

So from what it seems a new manager is not anywhere close, what are the board playing at here, they waited ages and ages when Neil Woods was caretaker manager and then gave him the job permanatly despite him not winning a game whilst in caretaker charge. They are not learning from mistakes are they, this just proves a lack of rral footballing knowledge, it is ok giving Limbrick some time but surely you still speak to/interview potential new candidates during that time? but from what it seems they have not even started interviewing yet. I really can not see a new manager being installed by Christmas. what a total mess this is.

It's called "doing it on the cheap"...hoping beyond hope limbrick could turn it round and get the results...but in the meantime they are not taking any notice of the support dwindle week on week.. It's business suicide, they should have at the very least started the interview process as soon as Jolley was out the door, didn't need to rush to appoint anybody but at least, for once, be bleeding proactive rather than the usual reactive which is always too late and the rot just eats deeper into the fabric of the club/squad...

I've just listened back to the Fenty interview on RH on the Monday following MJ's departure being announced on the previous Friday He said that he'd already had in the order of 20-30 applications by then and said no sooner had it gone live on Sky 5 minutes later he had a phone call showing interest in the vacancy So you would assume that the next process would have been to acknowledge those applications at least and maybe to even call in some of the prospects for interview Just about four weeks on and no further comment from him, other than a snippet or two fed to us by JT

Has he been too busy with campaigning for the election? I presume all councillors will be heavily involved.
