Hewitt's yellow card yesterday was his fifth so he will be suspended for the away game at Carlisle next week.

Well that's "really " weakened our cast iron defence, bet Carlisle were really wondering how they would score against us.

Well after his performance yesterday he would have to have been dropped anyway so it’s not an issue is it?
I’m not singling him out by the way as I’d have dropped at least 9 of them....

Can we agree to play Macclesfield every week.

Like a lot of them he started pretty well - at least when he played at right back. He put some gorgeous crosses in and defended ok. Yesterday his attempt to stop the second goal or even catch the forward up was pathetic.

Something has happened at the club (as it does most seasons) to undermine the playing side. It's almost as if the manager (whoever it is) knows he is fighting a losing battle at a club which is at least 30 years behind the times and the players pick up on it. Whatever the problem is the squad look completely dispirited.

Like somebody else said - yesterday had the smell of death about it. We need to be careful and get some positivity back or it could end up being the worst season ever.

Agree- Green started the season  off pretty good but gradually lost it and I have been unable to see where Whitehose should be playing-he's very slow Maybe these have been troubled by the ex managers tactics like several others

Don’t get the criticism of Green as usually he gets the balls played into him but there is no support to help him out.

Hewitt is ok IMHO and if he had a decent wide mid in front of he’d bomb on for sure.

The issue is this side doesn’t build in triangles in the wide areas I know he was a class above but when we had Embleton Hendrie uses to get in advanced positions all the time as we used to build our play.

Jolley let his ambition get in the way and saw route 1 as a way to get us up this average league and boost his CV nothing more nothing less, that charlatan has a lot to answer for.
