A league grading has been formed across the 92 clubs in the football lsague to judge clubs engagement with its supporters and we have been rated as 11th from the whole league. See link.

Sorry if this has been mentioned elsewhere but was both pleased and surprised with that result. Exeter have the best rating

that's a bit odd, didnt seem that a long ago we were scored pretty much as a zero in fan engagement by the EFL weren't we ?

Given that GTFC finished 11th with a poor rating for transparency, we could easily have reached the top 5. Look at the first two scores and compare to others with similar scores, e.g. AFC Wimbledon and Wycombe

So, is the Trust not transparent enough?  Or does fault lie with the Club? As someone previously heavily involved with the Trust, I suspect it is mainly the Club. Why is this so?  And what do the Club propose to do to tackle this?

Was it raised at yesterday's AGM?

Interested to hear the Club's views on this, and the Trust's.  Have there been previous rankings of this type and if so where were we at then?

It measures the club not the Trust ex-Mersey.

I’m a bit surprised by the transparency score. I thought we do well. At least in terms of company accounts, the club is very open.

My gut reaction on ‘Dialogue’ is that he has either got it wrong or the criteria don’t really measure qualitative factors. Yes we have dialogue but there is a track record of poor quality dialogue, at least outside formal board meetings/club-Trust meetings. It’s maybe more the ad hoc stuff that goes wrong (Bragate, Gategate, etc).

The Governance score makes sense. The Trust is a major shareholder and has representation on the club board.

I don’t think this particular league table has been done before. The previous thing was a FL thing if I remember correctly.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

I guess it takes into account the fact that JF posts in the fishy. I guess that’s worth a few points !

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

One thing Jolley was good at was praising the fans so we must have got a few ticks from him.

Most clubs I've been to recently have a fanzone outside the ground. Do we have one?
