Anyone else see this? Was on the box earlier.

Well worth watching if you haven't seen it. Gives a slightly misleading impression - there have been other tours to Brazil by various teams from Corinthian Casuals down the years (including one in which the great Socrates switched sides halfway through, as happened in the game shown here).

I used to go down the Casuals in and out when my mate was involved in the club and you used to get the odd 2 or 3 Brazilians on a pilgrimage. Seems to have gone to another level now.

Very refreshing reminder of what the game is about. Off the back of another doc earlier on local TV here about West Ham's last season at the Boleyn Ground. I was feeling jaded with the whole thing this week.

Timao!

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Yeah it was a good watch, when the Casuals went in 0-0 at half-time I thought there could be a shock on the cards.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Caught it completely by accident and though it was a very good programme. The first half was interesting enough but the second half was a fairytale for the players

Just shows you that occasionally good things do occasionally happen. First time I went there I was expecting it to be all Bufton-Tuftons but was surprised most of the players are just ordinary working class lads.
