I might be inclined to try Ian Culverhouse, he has experience of playing and coaching at all levels and has done well at Kings Lynn.

He'll be useful when we are back in non-league then

Interested to see why you are not calling for Heckingbottom bottom swin? Even as a second choice. I thought he was your preferred option last time?

I don't recall who I wanted instead of Jolley (just about everybody I think) but I don't recall going for Heckingbottom (wasn't he at Barnsley or Leeds at that time?) No doubt some bright sodomist will find my post and maybe prove me wrong tho'

Here’s one for those obsessed with ex town players. Danny Butterfield has apparently applied for the role.

"Falls to Arnold... Arnold! That's it! Thats it! He's sealed it! Grimsby Town are back in the football league!!! Just a minute to go and Nathan Arnold makes it 3-1! Look at the scenes behind the goal! Look at the relief! The agony is finally over!!!"

Had been a coach under Tidsdale at MK Dons but left when Tidsdale got the bullet so makes sense he'd be after a job.

Well the Orient have very recent experience of the sort of side Jolley can put out and his tactics, plus of course if anyone on their staff had particularly sharp hearing they may have overheard his ability to handle the local press

I would be interested in Danny Butterfield.

Had a good few years coaching, and played at a high level, and local lad.

Ex players have to start somewhere, look at Ryan Lowe, and Gareth Ainsworth.

Would rather someone like him, than a tried manger on the usual merry go round
