In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions. Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them. GOD

The relief of scoring that last minute penalty against Chesterfield was incredible. Had we lost that game there's a good chance we would be where they are now. Anti-Fenty feeling was building at the time so JF should be forever grateful that he took a lot of heat off him. I don't think we were in danger of relegation this season with him in charge but with Fenty's history of recruitment I'm now not so sure.
