We will beat Newport 2-1 and then thrash that non-league team 3-0 and then get home game against Man City. To have success you need positivity
Good so far. How do we get on against City?

You do, but our manager strangles the life out of games with his anti football. at 1-0 up, we should have gone on and won that game, but he dropped the back five to the 18 yard line for 60 minutes, with the midfield 10 yards ahead. At one point, we had a corner, we had hardly anyone trying to score the second but we did have FOUR men marking their ONE striker on the half way line. He's going to sack himself with his own negativity and I'll be glad when that days comes. Football is about entertainment and he is boring me to death. He talks a good game, but what he says and what he does are very differnent things, sad and hard to understand why.

Tell you why FB, he out thinks himself... If you go back to when he first signed for us the YouTube clip about how he master minded the defeat of Malmö was doing the rounds, now we are seeing that negativity come to blundell park... When was the last time we we're entertained and more importantly when was the last time we saw this front foot, high press attacking football he talks so eloquently about?...never!!

Or maybe he is currently aware that we are not playing well and struggling to get a result so being 1-0 up decides to do anything he can to keep that scoreline and just get a win no matter how, especially if he feels his job is under pressure. What would you do? This could be his one and only shoot of becoming a football league manager for the long term, and nice football is great, but it has been well proven over the years that results are more important. There is clearly a balance to be struck, but if we are pushing for a second and then get caught on the counter attack and they equalise, he is also going to get grief, that’s just the life of a football manager

But who's to blame for us not playing well??...afraid he only has himself to blame, so never mind he's fighting for his job, he put himself in that position yet we as fans now have to suffer drab, negative football just so he can save his behind!!

Just trying to put a balanced view. Of course he has to take ultimate responsibility and will pay the ultimate managerial price if it comes to that, but he is not telling his players to go out and not be able to pass to one another. I don’t know him or what is said to the players in the changing room, but I doubt it is just ‘lump it to Hanson and let’s hope we get lucky’. Players automatically go for the easy option when under pressure which is one of the negatives of having someone like Hanson in the team, he is an easy out and whether we or the manager like it or not, players will take the easy option when confidence is low or under pressure. Unfortunately we haven’t got a big enough or talented enough squad for the manager to drop everyone who is not doing exactly what he says or playing the way he wants, so trying to get a win under their belts, by any means, is a priority. Of course the playing style is based around the manager, but sometimes the players also have to take responsibility imho UTFM
