Well, after today's games no team has won 1st prize yet. 2 more teams, Blackpool and Man City have bust but no team has got exactly 21 goals yet.

3 teams have a chance to claim 1st prize tomorrow though, Crewe need a solitary goal at home to Barnsley, Northampton need 2 goals away at Burton and West Brom need 4 away at Charlton.

I will post a full update after tomorrow's games.

We have a winner. Nothampton became the 4th team to bust but Crewe scored the solitary goal they needed to win the first prize for Northbank Mariner. It's a 99.9999% chance that the full £300 will be won but there is a 0.0001% chance that Arsenal could score 10 against Leeds tomorrow.

Hagrid wins the £50 lowest score prize with Mansfield. I will do the random draw for the 2 £35 consolation prizes to those who haven't won anything after all this weeks games have finished.

Well, after all this weeks games have finished, Northbank Mariner is confirmed as the sole first prize winner and Crewe win him £300.

None of the 4 prizes were shared this game so there were 62 entrants who did not win a prize. Using a random generator app on my phone, the 2 £35 consolation prizes go to Thevera with Ipswich Town and Aussie Mariner with Maidenhead United.

Thanks to all that entered,  we shall have a couple of weeks or so break and then I think we'll have time for one more game this season.

Thanks les , well done winners .
Just a thought but you could consider giving the extra prizes to either the team that finishes second or maybe the team that busts first ?

The reason I give the consolation prizes out randomly is that it gives EVERY entrant a chance of winning something. After just 4 or 5 weeks it becomes obvious some teams are stuck in the middle with no chance of winning first prize or the lowest but this still gives them a chance of winning something.

If I were to give then out to first to bust or 2nd then after a few weeks there will be teams who will have absolutely no chance of winning anything. I think that makes it a lot fairer to all entrants. Also, to give a prize to the first team to bust defeats the whole purpose of the game.

Absolutely. No need for any change.

It’s a bit of fun, bit of light entertainment for a few weeks for a tenner, and which raises money, as well as a chance of a return. Thanks for taking the time to organise and run Les, count me in again for the next

I think the couple of prizes for mid table players is a good idea but would rather they were part of the comp to keep everyone checking eg paid out to position number 20 and 30
