I've been there twice and both times it was not a pleasant experience. Just a horrible little club with a chip on it's shoulder in my opinion. I don't think we've played Scunny enough times recently to re-ignite the rivalry to the stage where them doing badly trumps all. Give it a couple of seasons of course and that may well change. But until then, I'd rather see Chavanege drop out the league.   The wife was going away for a girly weekend. I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football' 'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

Contrition and apology over bra gate might have changed my mind. We all make mistakes. Nothing against Stevenage as a town or its residents. But the club can go fcuk itself. BUT I agree we have had some really good derby games in past years so it would be good to get back to them with the Scunts. Got picked as a sub against Huddersfield at The Old Showground. We won 7-1 but the Slade lookalike teacher/ manager kept his subs on the bench. I have decided to let go my bitterness of 55 years and put Stevenage into Room 101.
