I was in with the Chelsea lot last night and while it was weird not to be in the thick of it, it was brilliant to view the Town fans from the opposition point of view.

Particularly during that 30 min period when we got into the game they were totally silent, almost like they were in shock. We was totally bouncing our end, total contrast.

The atmosphere in the away was good but not as good as palace for me. Being split in to two sections meant there often 2 songs going at the same time.

Agree with this. I think the Selhurst acoustics helped too.

Too right, I couldn't resist.  The Chelsea fans around us clocked us straight away but were really good with us and we had a good laugh with them.

I did get told to "sit the Fluff down!" when the Town fans sang "Stand up for the Mariners!"
