Just on the news now that the EFL have decided to only relegate 1 team from league 2 at the end of this season, so now we need Stevanage to buck their ideas up and get some points otherwise scunny could stay up now.

Never a chance that the clubs would vote any other way, be like turkey's voting for Christmas.

I don't think turkeys and Christmas come in to it at all. The proposal was ridiculous. Bury are no longer members of the EFL. What was being suggested was basically awarding a fast-track franchise to the EFL to a non member club who are not currently playing football in the English league system. Maybe we could have expanded to 26 clubs and invited Rangers and Celtic to join L2 as well? It would have been exactly the same.

North Ferriby got placed at level 10. Previously Chester & Ilkeston were re-inserted at level 8. Non-League is being reorganised at the end of the season. National League N&S are expanding to 24 teams each & an 8th division is being inserted at level 8. I would imagine Bury will end up in the Northern Premier League Division One North-West.

How can they be allowed to be a football team in any league until debts cleared. Who would own the club-where would they play. I thought Bury were no more.

Radcliffe Borough are in the Northern Premier League Premier Division and their ground is less than 3 miles from Gigg Lane. Would be a reasonable location for a Bury club to play out of for a few years.

Turkey for Xmas was in reference to only one relegation from League 2.  Not the reinstatement of Bury, which I agree was a ridiculous proposal.

Personally I think the relegation places should have been kept as they are and an extra team promoted from the Conference.  This wouldn't have happened as it would have given more support for 3 up-3 down.
