I'll be leaving the office about 4 and getting to Earls Court abut 4:30....  it is the best place really in terms of ease of access and closeness to the ground.
Plenty of pubs around there.

Courtfield already busy with Town. Bit warm. Chilling with a cool pint in the Blackbird. Friendly doorstaff at both.

Went into the Earls Court and only had GK IPA in a plastic glass at £5.05 a pint
Decided to walk a bit further afield to get a decent beer in a proper glass and now in the Warwick Arms on Warwick Road
Used to drink here after work in the 70s
Brings back memories including when playing darts my mate and I did a 6 dart 301 double in double out
We were playing against Patrick Mower and another geezer - he was a right pretentious pr1ck

Edward Woodward? Was Mower one of the hit men in the second or third series of Callan?

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Could’a been
Seem to remember him for small parts (sic) in things like The Sweeney and I think you’re right he might have been in Callan with said Edward Woodward

He was in Emmerdale !!! Think he was in Special Branch and was then the lead in some cop show but cannot remember what it was called.

Googled it and I think it was Target
Which is sort of appropriate but I don’t know if he was any good at darts cause we beat him and his mate in 6 😀
I think they p1ssed off pretty quickly

Sorry if this is becoming non football but I’m still on a coach somewhere in Cambridgeshire so a bit bored
Don’t expect to get home until about 6am now
