Article in the Mail online about Aussie Ashes star James Pattinson being a Grimsby fan and was at Notts County away . I would post a link but haven't a clue how you do it 😂

I saw your face and heard you call my name.

Yeah I saw this story a few days ago, another sort of famous Town fan in that he is sort of a Town fan.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Close of play Australia 284 all out, bit disappointing for us in the end after we took early wickets.

His uncle lives down our street, who is a GTFC fan. Town should invite Pattinson to a home game as a PR stunt.

Not a bad first day of Ashes cricket at all that

Now it’s England’s turn to show what they can do with the bat and more importantly captain Root

Not a fan of the bloke after recent events but gotta admit Smith is a beast of a batsman

Now hang on. I remember an Aussie called Pattinson who was called up by England years ago on the basis he was born in Grimsby. Presumably there’s a link with this guy?!!

Ashes started late this year, due to the cricket world cup.

4th & 5th Test are September as well.

Normally the Ashes started in June, more recently in July in this country.

Be interesting to see whether the conditions, may have a affect on the later tests.

His brother Darren Pattinson, played 1 test against South Africa 2008, his selection caused a bit of a controversial at the time. Darren was playing Notts at the time of his call-up.

the 20/20 always is fitted in before too, personally i like earlier tests, will be torn on staurday, or more likely two radios.

If I remember correctly his older brother played a few games for Cleethorpes CC when the family returned to Grimsby he went on to play one game for England as he was born here.

Or he qualified because of his dad was a Grimmy
