Billy emigrated to to Australia. I think he used to run a maggot farm many years ago. I remember meeting him in the old Home Guard club in Cleethorpes market place. Straight talker who didn’t tolerate fools gladly. I used to work with his son Nick who was also on here and used to pick the winners for the caption competition...Nicko I think. He was also a smashing lad. Billy used to get a lot of stick on here due to his opinions....living in Oz meant he never went to games but still said his bit. Not sure if he is still with us or not.

Well I assume he is still with us given the OP was wishing him a happy 82nd birthday. Given that the poster knew both facts, it's a fair assumption to make that in wishing him HB he knew Billo was still with us.
