I just want my club to fulfil its potential in everything it does. From the minute details to the big decisions, after all we’re supposed to be a professional club and a PLC. Find so many missed opportunities and amateurish ways really frustrating. Want my club to be better and more inventive and original han it is and it could be with a little more thought and effort. Write me a list of all the things that the club has nailed, got spot on and couldn’t be any better at it if they tried and I’ll shut up. Dumbed down operations have led to dumbed down expectations. That’ll do or one or two errors don’t matter or let’s copy what someone else did ten years ago is not good enough for what I want for my club..

I don’t want to slag my club off but how they operate exasperates me. Look at where we are, Mickey Mouse and amateur hour..

Crikey would hate to read what you would put if you did want to slag it off. Have a day off would ya!! Moaning old illegitimate, damned if they do, damned if they don't in whatever the club does in your eyes!!

Why don't you get off your backside and get involved with your hometown club and make a difference. Always slagging everything the club does. People that are simply trying to do their best. It may not be to your liking or others on this forum. Just tell us what you contribute? Or have done from behind your pseudonym. UTM

I can understand your frustration Sonik.  But on more than one occasion John has turned down offers of help from the fans. Myself included. He didn’t even appreciate us raising over £100,000.00. So whilst I personally don’t have a go at everything he does, I won’t be offering my services in the near future.  As always, I hope that this is the season we turn things around. But as always it’s more in hope than expectation. UTM.

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

Already offered Sonik, brand building, marketing, PR, copywriting etc for free. Wasn't required, John knows best. Anyway, a change of ideology would be needed to make a difference which can't happen because your brother can't see past his own ideology. Too hands on any doesn't trust that anyone can do better. From a professional point of view, the club has dumbed down over the past couple of decades, probably since Alec King left. I don't care if people are doing their best, it just isn't good enough on the pitch or off the pitch. The club, the owner, his family and cohorts are bringing this club down to a very low level. Too much personal thinking from them going on rather than putting the club first. If the standards aren't good enough get professionals in, they may return the investment in them in spades.

How about marketing the final line drawings of the kits when they were finalised two or three months ago, collect email addresses etc of those interested and email them back a few days before launch. Extra exposure time, build up the awareness over a longer period so some kids can save up? And how about having an open kit launch day with the players etc when the club shop is ready to sell them? Just basic marketing..

And when your brother can deliver a football team that can finish higher than in the bottom half of the Fourth Division and in a stadium that's suitable for the modern day fan.. you can come back to me then..

The Fenty family etc are so far personally in, they cannot see the damage that has been done to the club over the past two decades..

And the truth is after 50 years of supporting my club I've never been so disillusioned with how it's being run. 15/17 years on and absolutely no improvement in anything, and most things just getting worse and more amateurish. Cheesed off fans getting chastised by Fentyistas on a fan's forum as if something magical has happened at BP during his tenure, you couldn't make it up, ffs..

How many businesses do you run? What's your area of expertise? What are your skills? What experience do you have? Have you got a proven track record? How successful have you been? Where do you see yourself in 3 years? What exactly can you bring to the table? There is probably a reason or 2 behind why he hasn't accepted your offer but as we don't know anything about you how can we side with you and say that JF is in the wrong for not accepting what you have offered?

Back to the thread title "New Home Shirt", looks like it's been revealed earlier than planned

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”
