I'm talking about the club as a whole, the infrastructure, location, investment, just about all aspects of our club are up the spout!!.. Davis stating he wants to be closer to Manchester, which in reality is all of an hour halves drive away, is quite frankly a p!ss poor excuse, footballers need to be where they will play and be paiid and when they sign on the dotted line they know exactly the location of that club...

Nor is it static and we don’t know if anything has changed in Davis’ life. It’s potentially worrying though that our hopes of not needing a major influx of new players is looking less likely. He was part of a side that finished 17th in Division 4. I'd have probably kept him as part of a pool of centre-backs in the new squad but I'm not going to cry about losing him and we can certainly do better if we want to progress.
