Excellent piece in today’s Football League Paper by Gregor Robertson (p13)

He spells out the hard facts of how many clubs, from Championship down to League 2 are in serious financial or other difficulty

A number of clubs are in the situation of not paying players wages (Bolton, Bury, Oldham), Coventry are once again without a ground going forward, and Oxford face numerous winding up orders etc., etc.

Now I’m sure a number of those named (and others) have acted recklessly in many areas, but once again it is the long standing fans who suffer, and this is very sad
