I have received the following request. Please post any help below:

Hi, I'm writing a book on the history of the West Riding Senior Cup, which will also incorporate the Yorkshire Electricity Cup. Half of any money raised by the book will go to Cancer Research. It will include all line-ups. Grimsby Town briefly figured in the Yorkshire Electricity Cup. I am trying to track down the first name or initial of a player whose surname was either Neil, Neill or Neale, who appeared as a substitute for Grimsby against Halifax on Saturday, 31 July 1993. He could well have been a junior or a triallist. Any help or guidance you can give will be most appreciated. Kind regards, Martin

I can't remember anyhthng about him, unsurprisingly, yet the name rang some distant bell. Still having the teamsheet though, that's some collecting bug you have! Impressive.
