The BBC reports that the players were not paid in March.  Due last Friday.  A winding-up petition has also been issued against the club.  The current chairman only started last Dec.

Bury could easily slip out of automatic promotion by the end of the season.  Didn’t their fans think that they were there after their draw with us?
