Without Embleton playing well, we have very little creativity.
His poor form prior to injury was reflected by the run of bad results.
Other teams are well aware of our inability to create chances and with this in mind, they can push on us more.
Plenty of hard workers but our strikers are feeding off scraps.

I thought Woolford was suppose to be a play maker but to be honest he always looks totally knackered. Clifton is still learning but getting better. I would rather see Vernam play further up field. We need at least a ball winning midfielder with a brain a big man up front and some pace.

We desperately need to be able to swap systems depending on the opposition. It's no secret the lack of scoring as affected the defence who are been put under loads of pressure.

Our midfield and attack should be sorted as a matter of urgency even if that means giving youth a try or looking at non league players.

With our budget it is the best we can do lets hope Jolley and co are already busy in this quest it's clear we need much more up front.

We must give opposition defences something to think about at least at home no good leaving it to the last few minutes you are behind to push up.

Another thing at least mix it up a bit on opposing corners leave one man preferably Rose up front as an outlet and to put pressure on their defenders this annoys the feck out of me.

Those defenders are camped just outside our area ready to pick up the pieces under no pressure whatsoever and have time to get the ball back in It is so easy for them..

could it be that the Embleton effect may actually be felt in the future...having a young England international on loan, playing , getting the experience may open the doors for similar in the future ?
I think Townsend was the last one we had in who we played and brought on....and even then he only initially got in due to injury but then made it his own.  Henderson hardly got a look in while here and look where he is playing now, Hurst had a habit of signing loanees and not playing them, hopefully Jolley can be seen as someone who will give players a chance to develop.
