Only one thing I learnt from that game was that you are allowed 22 substitutes on the 2 benches  FFS

Scottish fans will take it in their collective stride though. They know their team is crap, but they still turn out in excellent numbers for the trips abroad. It's all about the days out rather than the football - you simply can not polish a turd.

In a couple of competition's time, the World Cup will make a major change to it's tournament structure and will be formatted not on 24 teams, but on a whopping 32!

This means that any nation.......any nation that plays football.....will qualify.

Except San Marino, Faroe Islands.......
And Scotland.

It's even worse than that.

It is currently 32 teams but due to be 48 teams from 2026. However, Infantino has already floated the idea of increasing the Qatar World Cup to 48 teams...
