[quote=34917]Look you can’t have your team captain as your keeper
It doesn’t work
They need to be out on the pitch

Who is the gobbiest player on the pitch? we dont really seem to have someone who shouts out too much.
Normally the guy that shouts from midfield or defense to get the troops in order would get it but we are shy of having that in the team.

I don't see the need to appoint a new club captain right now. Collins has been captain most of the season so nothing will change.

I think it is important to have a few vocal players on the pitch. You don't need to wear an armband to encourage and drive others around you on.

I really don't see the point in a captain anyway to be honest, just because you're not captain dosent mean it will not make players that like to talk a lot on the pitch talk any less. If your a organiser and a leader on the pitch, you are whether you are captain or not I think.

Dis and Groves weren't gobby and two of the best captains in decades.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Aye, lead by example. The lad with the armband at Barcelona does alright too, without going all John Terry

Surely it deserves a poll so we can determine the Will of the People?

Only if we can have another poll if the losers don't like the result of the 1st one.
