Grimsby Town fans have proved time and time again you can have a drink and be well behaved,

That person I will not say fan was just a nutter and wants locking up and banned from attending football for life.

Whilst I agree with the can drink and behave sentiment, I’m not sure we’re the best example!

You see on the news all these people being stabbed to death up and down the country so how long is it going to be before some lunatic sneaks a knife into the ground and he runs on and stabs a player

When Grealish scores he went into the Villa fans a Birmingham steward was arrested afterwards for trying to push him back on to the pitch.

As for the tw@t who ran on I just hope someone went to his cell and told him Greilsh scored the winner. He’ll be in court tomorrow and all being well will get what he deserves.

Witnesses say he kicked him, watched the video and appears to motion a raking stomp type kick though its unclear

Shocking behaviour, he’ll spend some time at her majesty’s pleasure and probably never step foot in a football ground ever again and rightly so. Personally I’m never sure punishing the club itself is the best way of dealing with it, whether it’s a fine or a points deduction it just seems like an easy way out for the FA (or football league, whoever will deal with this) and just scapegoats the club. It’s a mindless idiot, what could Birmingham City, the stewards or police have genuinely done to prevent a completely random action that they had no idea was about to happen?

"Falls to Arnold... Arnold! That's it! Thats it! He's sealed it! Grimsby Town are back in the football league!!! Just a minute to go and Nathan Arnold makes it 3-1! Look at the scenes behind the goal! Look at the relief! The agony is finally over!!!"
