When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

How weird.I was going to start a thread a couple of days ago asking when the last time a club went into receivership and got points deducted. Seemed to be a very common occurrence about ten years ago but seemed to have died out completely.second part of my question as to why that was the case

Maybe the heavy penalties had the desired effect.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.

Just clears the way for that Valeri Belokon to take full control of the club with aquiring his £35 million back in full.  Hopefully they won't be relegated with a points deduction, it would mean stronger competition fighting Grimsby Town for promotion next season. Blackpool will be much stronger now with him in control, he was worth £200 million back in 2010 and that's without his assets which were supposed to be worth £450 million.  Plus their attendances will shoot right back up again now them Oyston scumbag leeches finally booted out the club.

Belokon might end up being the owner but he might not be allowed to run the club having been declared an unfit/unproper person. I'm not sure his personal history marks him out as being on a higher level ethically than the Oystons.

According to the BBC: 'However, Belokon, who bought a 20% stake in the Tangerines in 2006, is currently disqualified from club ownership after being given a 20-year jail term in Kyrgyzstan for "money laundering, tax evasion and dishonesty" in his absence in May 2017.'

And he's the good guy in all this! Blimey.

Apart from the fact he has been ruled as not fit by the FL as he has been found guilty of money laundering in his murky past.

What a dodgy businessman from the former Soviet Union? I bet he's got metres and metres of wardrobe space full of roll necks and leather sports jackets.

If you've not been convicted of dishonesty in a Kyrgyzstan court of law you've never lived.

Blackpool look set to break a 40-year-old home crowd attendance, around 15,000 tickets already sold for Saturdays game against Southend.
