2006 v 2019 - Who would win?

4th place finish for the 2006 team, easily making the playoffs, surely makes them odds on as the better team but baring in mind the play off talk, which 2006 players would make a composite team
Reddy and the two Jones would be the first names on the team sheet? After that ?
Reminder of 2006 Playoff Squad

Gary Croft                                                         Futcher

Justin Whittle                                                   Ciarán Toner
Tom Newey                                                       Jean-Paul Kalala
Junior Mendes                                                  Gary Cohen
Paul Bolland
Curtis Woodhouse
Andy Parkinson
Michael Reddy
Gary Jones

Christ you all wanted him sacked a few months ago. 6th place finish and he's now the messiah and can do no wrong
Update:  I think I've got this right - He was the messiah. He then wasn't. He then was again. Then it turned out he actually wasnt. He turned into one big huge messiah again. Now he's not actually the messiah we thought he was . Now I'm hoping he rises again quickly

Yes judging by our league position youre right. Im just asking the question
I'm going off what I've seen and what I've read. The fans think we're almost there, a team to mount a serious challenge next season. The 2006 side failed to win promotion

We can argue the toss about certain players but I think we can all agree which manager we'd rather have

Dixon, Berrett and Clarke would certainly add something to the 2019 squad.

would walk in as far as I am concerned

What a back three Jones R, Whittle and Ohman would make

I think they'd get the better of Lincolns lot

Still, they didn't win promotion....

I think players get fitter and more professional all the time. I reckon the current GTFC side could give the 1966 England side a run for their money. Rodger Bannister at his peak wouldn't even qualify for the Brtish Olympic team now.
