After 31 games last season we'd just lost 3-0 at Yeovil, playing a 352 system that was obviously a disaster with the awful players we had, leading to Slade getting sacked and Jolley coming in.
What a difference a year makes!!!

We’ve scored more goals and amassed more points in Feb 2019 than we did in the whole of Feb 2018 already and it’s only the second!

If I remember correctly, last year we got one point in January, One  in February, and two in March.

So it was April before we hit 40 points.

Without Slade there would be no Jolley.

It was game 42 last year when we managed to get over the 40Pts mark so lets hope the next 10 games are better than last years which after yesterdays performance gives me a  good feeling they will be.

I'd like to think that I don't forget many players over the years, but Killip and Wilks had nearly been completely erased in 12 months!

Wilks is yet another one like Matt who GTFC just couldn't get the best out of. He got a new 2 yr contact at Leeds in January and is currently playing in Div 1 at Doncaster

Killip sadly is not faring so well at Braintree

Ah yes, a quick google shows an impressive 8 league goals this season (and a court case!). He only started 4 games for us though, so I'm not sure he can be compared to Matt.

Playing a division higher, contracted two divisions higher, more goals than Bogle and where would 8 goals put him in our scorers list this season?

The lad's doing OK don't knock him

Wilks had problems with his hamstrings whilst here and then we changed manager during his loan spell.. don't think we saw the best of him.

I merely forgot him, didn't knock him in the slightest

Swin was pointing out that a squad of supposedly bad players (GTFC in Feb 201 maybe wasn't that bad given that some of them have done alright since leaving, including one who has a better goal return than one player who was one of our best goalscorer in years.

I don't think the difference between Feb18 and Feb19 is so much about the individuals* who make up the squad as in how they're led.
*better but not that much better.

Always amazes me how teams seem to have more injuries when they are struggling for form. I don't think Wilks fancied the fight.
