As Abdul said, he was an impressive centre back when needed too.
I think we once played QPR and he had to play CB and was up against a guy called Dicchio (not sure of spelling) who was about 6ft 8inches tall and I believe played in Serie A for a top club too. Livvo was brilliant that day, just used his strength and experience to snuff out any threat.

Yep Danny Dicchio.  Livo is a legend pure and simple.... He had a naughty steak to his game like the push in the Leicester win and Teales shirt lol.  I think he drove a black BMW.

He was a hero.
Great on and off the pitch..
Think I'm right in saying he doesn't remember a great deal about his time with time because of that horrendous head injury.

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

I'm not sure I think it was a Merc I saw it in the car park at BP once. It was silver if my memory serves but I do remember the registration was L1VVO

Nearly 300 games for Town, 40 odd goals, numerous assists all but one season in what is the Championship and that one season promoted from the now 1st Division. Hit the post many times. Played center  back as well. I didn't think he was the same after the assault by Higginbotham. Blackburn paid 450000 and Chelsea 350000 in the early 90's.
A true UTM legend.

Quality, tough. hardworking centre forward how we could do with him now. was right behind the line of the ball with that 20 yrd chip at Stoke, great finish and that Leicester vid is a regular watch for me.
