And would love to see our records playing a 352 532 or whatever you wanna call it against when we played with 4 at the back..

We go on a great run playing a 433 lose a game then straight back to 5 at the back and whenever we played it it never works.

Why ? The players seemed comfortable and we looked good were on the other hand we look excrement playing with 3 centre backs.

Great save from Russel and town just standing still not playing to the whistle rather then clearing the ball.

Great save, no town defenders remotely bothered about trying to pick up the rebound, leaving Doidge unmarked AGAIN to tap in. flipping useless.

Poor opening 10 minutes, good 20 minutes without really threatening, concede a goal and fall apart. I think that sums up the first half.

Big learning for MJ if your going to play a team that have practically never played together don't try and pay a formation that they may not be used to. Also just keep the same bloody defense for 2 games in a row, why drop Whitmore?

started well but we are defending 90% of the game and thats the issue for me, were is the attacking intent.  Definately need something in the 2nd half.

352 leaving us exposed. Ring has struggled in his games so far and needs to get with the pace. Cardwell was clean through and panicked then stood on the ball.

I’m not sure about changing your playing system in the middle of a season. I’m not sure about Ring, but I am sure that Cardwell isn’t good enough, reminds me of Michael ‘Bungle’ Jeffrey.

Watching on iFollow and that was an absolutely terrible 1st half, don’t think we’ve strung more than 3 passes together. Forest Green bigger, stronger and first to all of the loose balls. Ring has had a nightmare, he is so ponderous and his distribution is terrible. No threat up front again, Thomas has done his best but he looks so isolated. Vernam and Cardwell haven’t got on the ball at all, mainly because we’ve given it away before we’ve had the chance to get it up to them. Think the 3-5-2 needs a lot more work.

Not good tonight but we all knew it was going to be a season of inconsistency before a ball was kicked. Too much dead wood last season, building for next. It’ll come, we will finish mid table and push on next year. We all knew that anyway

Poor defending, first a free header, second and one of 3 could have put it in the net, too static, no anticipation. Oh and as usual no goal threat at the other end, otherwise we are ok!!!

Might have been tongue in cheek but he is a sight better than this shite. System all wrong-am sorry to say losing faith in Jolly. We are not playing to our strengths because we don't have any. The whole system is set up to be defensive  Where are our new players because the way we are playing we are one of the worst in the division. Don't say we are in transition because that excuse has long gone.

We were playing okay without creating anything up to the first goal.
Just like the bad old days the teams heads dropped.

Macclesfield are improving and we are looking down and certainly heading long into another relegation dog fight.  Forget building for next season because at this rate that'll be in the conference, concentrate on this sesson...

I'm sorry, I know we're all supposed to be constantly postive but he isn't up to it. Not by a long way. Surely Akeem Rose deserves his chance as from what I've seen he has genuine raw pace and isn't aftraid to shoot. We're awful and in decline yet again.

Makes you wonder how we can leave a man totally unmarked 6 yards out when we are playing with 3 centre backs??

There’s AT LEAST 4 worse teams than us in the league. Yeah it’s not pretty, but nowhere near that bad
