Very good and honest appraisal too from MJ - he comes across as being justifiably annoyed with today. I expect there'll be a reaction next week.

Town seem to have a great ability to wazz momentum up the wall when they come back to BP - over the last 10 years we never seem to put in a great shift at home once peoples interest in piqued.

I'm struggling to remember the last time we've come back to BP and really pushed on from great opportunites on the road.

Of course, Sol is a football genius.....so there is that.

So where did that performance come from?
It’s startling that we still have it in us to look like total stangers
It’s almost like we thought we would win just by turning up after our heroics last week
3 games
3 losses
0 goals
That 2019 so far
Know we have a lot of injury’s so really hope MJ can Put this Down to a one off display and move us forward again when the other players come back
No stand ours today
Rose is often way to casual and he got caught out today
Come on Town we need to improve for next Sat

Without trying to analyse the game to much. I think it’s quite clear games have caught up with us a little.

We’ve had some tough games, with distances to travel and played a huge chunk with 10 men. Not helped that we haven’t been able to rotate much due to injuries.

Not exacusing the bad performance I just think it was always going to catch up with us.

They started much better than we did. It was only a matter of time before they scored.

Nothing else to add.  Bar we did not look likely to score.

A tough game next week might suit us better, especially as we will have key defenders back.

The bloke next to me said he thought it was dreadful and I think he was being kind !

Why persist with aimless long balls to two centre backs who could have gobbled those up all day, totally futile and giving up possession. It was Lincoln City football but they do it much better !

Why continue with one man up front when you are two nil down at home to a team bottom of the league ?

Finally, what does Pringle do ?

On the plus side, Ring looked better the longer the game went on and Ohman looks a good no nonsense centre back who hopefully starts with Davis next week.

All in all a waste of £15.

Well he's clearly not the idiot many of here made him out to be - he's had a good start at a no-hope job

Think Jolley nailed it in his interview when he said were not very good at breaking teams down who have men behind the the ball.

Without the chance to counter attack and without the aerial threat of collins, davis and Whitmore we are very average at the minute.

At least Jolley recognises this and hopefully we'll get better in time

I thought that was the result of the weeks of backs to the wall performances where our defence could almost afford to be makeshift because we just stuck 9 behind the ball and fought for our lives. Today was a different proposition and we absolutely bottled it. Midfield were anonymous and allowed Macclesfield to control play, first half we could barely string a pass together.

RHJ wasn’t great and Mitch Rose played as though he had concrete in his boots. Pringle is immobile and we looked better without him, Ring especially benefitted from Pringle going off as it allowed him to push up and do a better job of it.

A.Rose looked good when he came on, Hess tried to drive us on but wasn’t helped by his teammates. Vernam and Thomas anonymous.

Put it down to a bad day at the office, but play like that at Lincoln and we’ll get battered.

They just looked worn out. I’ll take one shite performance every couple of months. Missed Clifton greatly.
