Town played a closed-door friendly against Scunthorpe at Gladford Park this afternoon.

The game finished 1-1. Town lead most of the game through towns No.5?  Doesn't  state scorers name.

Would probably have included youths and fringe players but not a bad result all the same against a UTD  team which included all of there new signings

Town tweeted Pollock scored for us. No idea who else was playing since they've not put that information out and Scunthorpe's twitter only referred to our players by their shirt numbers.

Danny Collins did refer to “a game” on RH on Saturday night.

Good call by MJ keeps the players not starting relatively fit and allows him to look at his options with the existing squad and possible recruits.

Interesting that it was behind closed doors and a bit of a closed shop with regards updates on the game.

Maybe a couple in on trial?

Don’t read to much into the score , we played many different systems deliberately to see how various players would cope in fact for a quarter of the game we sat back and let them take the game to us when in fact we didn’t need too

Scunny running in some of their new signings whilst we give our young team a good test against experienced league one standard players.

Sounds like we learnt more than they did.
