Keeps him at the club until the end of the 19/20 season.

Thoughts?

A good deal for both parties a developing player starting to get minutes but from his point needs to get some goals added to his workrate.

Good to see a young player who gives his all for the club rewarded with a new deal and more time to develop further. Also good to see the club being more proactive in new contract negotiations and not waiting until May.

A decent enough player at this level and it's reasonable to extend his contract. I don't think he's ever going to set the scoreboard on fire but if he can chip in with a few more goals and help the team score more with his workrate, then he will continue to be useful.

Hard worker. Still raw but has plenty of potential due to his physical attributes. Hopefully he will come on for a run of games.

It’s great that the manager is looking to develop players and we aren’t seeing endless numbers of new players.

MJ obviously sees potential so that is good enough for me.

Posted my thoughts on this in the "Vernam" thread...

But what I'd also add is that it's a huge positive that we're extending contracts midway through the season rather than waiting for them to run out before trying to talk about re-signing them.
