A few weeks back we were busy looking over our shoulders and hoping the likes of Morecambe, Notts County and Macclesfield didn't get a decent result. Six wins out of seven games and now we're looking at maybe overtaking the likes of Newport, Stevenage and Oldham in the near future if the results keep coming our way.

I think before these last two away games had we been offered draws at each of them we'd have snapped their hands off, but we're now four points better off and four places higher because we've won them instead. The last two wins have been of the "winning ugly" type, and it's exactly those kind of teams that end up challenging at the business end of the season. We're now only sixteen points away from the magical fifty point mark that usually guarantees safety, we have youngsters coming through, a never say die spirit is very obviously present within the club and at long last there genuinely appears to be the prospect of exciting times ahead. How long before other clubs come sniffing round MJ?

No attempt at ethical or social seduction can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred of the Tory party. So far as I'm concerned they're lower than vermin. Aneurin Bevan.

Feeling all the positivity. Good innit?

But to other clubs looking for a manager, Jolley has achieved nothing yet.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

We weren’t great against Notts County either tbh, I’ve seen us play better and lose a few times. The upshot is we are in a miles better place than a year ago and long may it continue.
