Just seen a tweet from him that says had a good year roll on 2019 then a reply from pringle with #pleasestay and also asking what town are we. Could be postive sign he staying.

I don't know if Sunderland are still in the Cup but why would they let him play in the Cup if they are going to bring him back? Or send him elsewhere? Wouldn't make sense. I think he'll stay and I hope he does because from what I have seen of him he has been excellent.
