Hearing rumours this player is on his way from Sweden in January with his contract up at the end of the month with his current team Orebro SK and is not renewing it.

A left back, MJ follows him on Twitter, has played against MJ Swedish team,

Win Fox rumoured to be leaving for America no reason to think this isn’t true with MJ saying pre season he has a player(s) he wants to bring across from Sweden but can’t to there season ends in December.

Only mid 20s too.

His team have confirmed his not re newing his contract this season despite trying to persuade him too,

Has to have something lined up think his been there a while.

We don’t really know much about him but we trust MJ if we was to sign him, he hasn’t let us down so far with some gems.

This may be unconnected but on Thursday, 3 days ago, I got off the KLM flight from Amsterdam into Humberside. As I was walking into the arrivals area, I looked into the departure lounge and saw JF at the front of the queue, ready to board the flight to Amsterdam.

As I say, could be nothing.

Maybe Mr Fenty had agreed to meet the player and his agent in Sweden and Mr Fenty was boarding the wrong flight

You think we get direct flights to Sweden from Humberside? Lol you can't go anywhere direct from there, I think they only have airlines that fly to Majorca or Amsterdam. Half the time it's cheaper to fly from Manchester too even if you count the costs of travel to the airport.

Humberside had direct flights to Sweden on SAS a couple of years ago.

Fenty going to Amsterdam might explain some of his managerial appointments if he’s been going regularly over the years...

Maybe going to Amsterdam to buy some new bulbs for the floodlights, heard that daffodils only come out in the spring so thought he could save on the electric bill.

I've heard that the floodlights are not "fit for purpose " and must be replaced at the end of the season. The supports have been " condemned " ! lol ki ki

For my part, it would be good for direct flights Sweden-Humberside. Would also be fun for me as Swedish if it became a Swedish player in Grimsby FC. It was a while since Martin Pringle.

A couple of years ago is not now is it. Show me a direct flight from Humberside that isn't Amsterdam or a local flight to Scotland/Ireland lol. Our local airport doesn't have direct flights to anywhere remotely useful. Everyone here still lives in the past lol.

What hassle is getting a direct train to Manchester Airport? I've got the train, got an airport hotel and still saved £150-200 on what KLM wanted to fly to the same destination via Amsterdam with a flight to Amsterdam from Humberside. I guess if your holiday destinations aren't much more than a mad week with the lads in Magaluf on a Flybe flight  it probably wouldn't make much difference even if you can't fly direct still anymore.

Funnily enough, my trip last week was to Stockholm on Monday then to Billund in Denmark on Wednesday, back home from Billund via AMS on Thursday. I travel to these places quite regularly and my options are either HUY to ARN via AMS or direct from Manchester.

More often that not, the MAN route on SAS is cheaper but on this occasion Humberside was easily the cheaper option, just over £500 for 5 flights.

Airlines do seem to be a law unto themselves sometimes.

Well I have flown Humberside to Dubai for less than going from Manchester, at least if you include train travel, and a hotel in Manchester. I doubt JF would want the hassle either.

Didn't realise that there were so many well travelled people on this board.

Next time you travel could you please take in a local game and try to find some foreign players that we could snap up on the cheap!
