Don’t think race meetings are designated sporting events for the purpose of alcohol consumption

Which is ironic given the state of a lot of the pillocks and slappers you see at Waterloo during Ascot week.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

It matters a lot. If you get a seat at the back of the stand you won't be able to see very well. It's  a very old stand that has been modified to acomodate seats.

Thanks Les, will pay to park on a drive somewhere... In regards the stand, I'd hate to travel all that way and be stuck with a excrement view. Give us a side stand and close it off to home fans, not like they'll have many their anyway

Wtf.. For seats in the Directors' Box, prices are £20 for adults and £10 for both senior and junior concessions.

There’s loads of street parking in walking distance to the ground.

Just had a quick gander at Google maps.

According to them distances from Selhurst Park are Thornton Heath station 0.7miles, Norwood Junction 0.6 miles and Selhurst train station 0.5 miles, so they're all pretty much of a muchness really with Selhurst just slightly closer.

Several options if travelling by car and not wanting to venture close to the ground.

Park at Barnet, Cockfosters or Stanmore to travel by tube to Balham and a short train ride to Selhurst or Thornton Heath.

Or parking at Cockfosters, Piccadilly Line to Finsbury Park change to Victoria Line one stop to Highbury & Islington then overland train to Norwood Junction.

Yeah I'd rather do something like that than try to drive from one side of London to the other
