Leaving at 0700 hrs then ?

Many a true word spoken in jest. 😉.  Won’t be revealing too much on here. Prying eyes and all that  But my bacon butty may well be consumed on the way 😄😄

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

Just out of interest, is it illegal to drink on a bus nowadays, or just football ones?

Yeah just football ones.

Well, “sporting events”, but I’m yet to see a coach load of people off to the races arrested and escorted back to wherever they came from.

Hope I’m right though in saying only on the way there ?

If they pick on the races that’s my Boxing Day foocked

You are not allowed to drink on London buses, trams or tubes. You can drink on the train though!

https://tfl.gov.uk/info-for/me.....m-this-sunday-1-june

You are also not allowed drink on a coach which "is being used for the principal purpose of carrying passengers for the whole or part of a journey to or from a designated sporting event".

Designated sporting events including all professional football matches.

Is 11 o clock a bit late to be leaving for south London? Doesn't leave a lot of time for stops and getting a pint before the game.

Were hoping to be arriving into Cockfosters by then if that helps your judgement. Planning on spending the day in central London before travelling to Crystal palace mid afternoon.

I'm assuming that there'll be a GTFC meeting point for a mass photo so keeping a look out on social media for that.

Joking apart muzzy is a good lad and if there's a spare place on the coach when I next see him I will be taking it.

You have a PM !

I'm heading to the game from the south west.. I see the parking isn't great near Selhursr Park so it looks like I'll be paying £10 odd to park on someone's drive... Anyone have any other ideas or cheap places to stop and grab a tube

The tube won't get you anywhere near. Doesn't go out that far.

The nearest mainline train stations to Selhurst Park are Thornton Heath or Selhurst  which are both about a 10-15 minute walk from the ground.
