Camera gantry height

Bit left field but Towns camera gantry height above the pitch must well up in the stats in the EFL.

When I watch our highlights on Quest they look way higher than most.

Nah, I reckon most are far higher above sea level than ours!

It has to be high as it's a well known fact all Town supporters are over 7 feet tall!

The one in the Palace away stand is so low it restricts the view from the back few rows.

Joking apart we do seem to be getting taller, Im about 5 foot 10, but when I go into the bar before a game, its like being in the land of the giants.  

I prefer higher than lower

I stopped growing at 16 reaching 5ft  10ins and was one of the tallest when I left school at 15.

About 20 years ago when I used to visit school in my job,

Like you I stopped growing when I hit 5ft 8.5ins at 14. I was one of the tallest in my year at school until that point. My feet kept growing though to an unproportional size 10.

Just like to add my best mate was 5ft 7in when we left school,

When we reached 18 I was  about the same height he had shot up to 6ft 3in  

I’m 50 and still haven’t stopped growing.

Unfortunately that is waist size 😢

When I left school I was the smallest lad in our year at around 5ft, I then grew to around 5ft 10ins by the time I was in my early twenties.

I had a bad motorbike crash when I was 18 (broken leg) and because I was still growing my right leg is 1cm shorter than my left and I have to wear a 1cm build up in my right shoe.

So my height depends on which leg I am stood on  

The odd thing as well with me is when I got to 60 my shoe size went from a 9 to a 10.

I'm the same as you Pete, I went from 9 to 10, but now they seem tight. If I continue at this rate I will be buying clowns shoes.

To Kingston,  yes, I imagine the bigger my feet get, the more they will weigh.

You could download a laser measuring app for your phone. You may get some funny looks lying on the Lower floor pointing your phone skywards.

Just looked on google maps and it states River Humber where Reeds Island is, not saying your wrong but where does the estuary begin?

Debatable. Where the Trent and the Ouse flow in or where the tidal reach ends which is a bit further upstream?

According to wiki the estuary starts where the Ouse and Trent meet.

To be a river it has to have a source. Usually a well that comes to the surface and flows to the sea. The Humber is formed by two rivers coming together and therefore doesn't have a source of its own and cannot be a river.

So who first called it the River Humber and put the name on maps then ?I have been misled for 70 years .

Apparently it was somebody in Leeds, he started splitting Aires.  

It's a bit like the scene from only fools and horses were Rodney tries to get Trigger to stop calling him Dave.

You won't find many maps that have it as a river, only maps from Yorkshire.

Had a read through all the reviews from different fans and neutrals on the Football Grounds Guide website and lots say similar about the away stand at Palace,  also old wooden seats, , , reminds me of Burnley that does and also support pillars in the way of your view, , , main standers will be used to that!

Although I agree it is not a River.

As I said according to Wikipedia it has never been a river although I use to call it one!

Can someone please edit wikipedia and make it a river again.
I dont have time but i believe anyone can do it.

According to the latest Ordnance Survey maps it is called the River Humber after the Trent joins it and it still bears that name at Immingham. The next reference, on the maps,  is opposite Cleethorpes where it is called " Mouth of The Humber ". Because it is formed from several large rivers then it can have a new name differing to those of it's tributaries.
