My point about Bogle was that, as usual on here, folk got over excited and started making ridiculous claims about him and as for how much money he is alleged to have made the club, where is it, its hardly put us in a position to buy better players has it?

It's not a case of having an opposite view. When we signed Bogle you were full of claims about him being a crock and a poor signing. He wasn't. He was rarely injured, scored plenty for us and we sold him for a big profit. Your opinion was categorically wrong.

Your other point is still irrelevant. Regardless of where that money went, that doesn't stop you being wrong about him being a bad player or a crock. I sort of hope that you're not as thick or ridiculous in real life as you are on here or you are a really quite tragic character.

What is the point in supporting a Grimsby Town if you dont allow yourself to get carried away when a player like Bogle comes along and ignites a fanbase.His display vs Stevenage was a football highlight in our last 20 year`s of league football and for the course of that 90 mins he was unplayable. Yes he moved on and it hasn`t worked out for him at all time since but he isn`t the first and wont be the last.Remember Birtles going from Forest to Man U for a big fee the step up was too much for him it never made him less of a player just not good enough for the level above. Omar will be back in the lower leagues before long and he will start scoring goals regular because it`s in his armoury to do so.The money he brought via transfer did put us in a position to buy better players( Osborne and Jones an upgrade for me) we did but Mr Bignot went way OTT and spent most of it and JF the rest off his loans. Based on last night and the previous 4 home games this team are beginning to gel it was always going to take time and the fruits of this are beginning to bear fruit.We now need some footballing fortune in the FA Cup a win Sunday and a plum 3rd round tie with Jolley keeping a steady hand on the tiller we will be a threat January onwards.I bet you a pt were 9th or above come May Swin.UTM

Not at all in fact I am getting totally drunk off with all the attacks simply because I disagree with posts on here.

It appears I am not allowed an opposite view to the rose tinted bespectacled masses.

It seems that if someone is not constantly slagging off Fenty and does not think the sun shines out of Jolley's bottom he is the target for abuse.

When you have been supporting Town as long as Ipswin you will remember the really good times, McMenemy,, Newman, Kerr, Booth, and Buckley Mks1 and 2  anyone under the age of say 25 -30 has only known abject dross compared to those times, with only infrequent rays of sunshine, often snuffed out before they come to shine.
So while people are worshiping a current little ray, Swin et al have seen it all before, which is why they don't get carried away.
Yes he may be an embittered grumpy so and so, but he is still entitled to his opinions, some of which you can see where he is coming from.  You don't have to agree with them, its a free world, but surely all this abuse???
