Sol Campbell  is in talks to be their new manager

That could be interesting.

Only November but feels like they've gone down already!

Still plenty of games to go and a shake up is what they need, , , just don't think Sol is the man to do it

Well I have to say it would be a surprise but then again football is full of them I suppose...
Wouldn't be one bit shocked if a certain Mr Hurst fancies his chances, but maybe a bit too low for him to stoop.

just a shame he didn't get the notts county gig - we could've counted ourselves as safe from relegation if that had happened

I wonder if he'll make a meat-balls of it!?

'I walked in the dressing room. The window was open and I thought that a sea fret had got in. Then I saw smoke billowing from a pipe in the corner of the room...it was my centre-forward. He looked seven stone wet through. He went on to score thirty-odd goals that season.' Lawrie McMenemy on encountering the legend that was Matt Tees.

Well he's been coaching the England U21's so I suspect his coaching skills are ok. Question is can he manage and can he make a silk purse out of a pigs whatsit?
Something tells me he might just make a go it, but I hope not. Would be nice to have one relegation spot tied up early.

Can they make a Silkmen out of a Sol’s ear I think is the phrase you were looking for.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.
