Think we sold him to a Palace for 100k, which was the price we had paid for him.
Didn’t he take kicks off the floor with one foot, and kicks out of his hands with his other foot?
Nigel Batch , Danny Coyne (?) , not sure about Wilmot.

Didn't we make a profit by somehow selling Wilmot to a top division club? That was a great quality.
Or perhaps I'm just imagining that we sold him for more than he cost us?
Yeah, we sold him to Palace for about the same amount we paid Plymouth(?) for him after he played a blinder for us at Selhurst Park . Must have been the one good game the Flying Leek* had for us. (* copyright Steve Plowes in SWWF).

These are the most common names of recent years. The funny thing is all the Harrys started around the same time with the only other one being Harry Pell.
Alan Andy Ben Chris Danny David Gary James Josh Luke Mark Michael Paul Peter Richard Sam Scott Tom
Anyone know whether he have ever fielded a team containing a Matthew, Mark, Luke and John?
Jesus Rob, this is probably the lowest pun I've ever written and I don't write many

Bit that tickled me was when said the changing rooms and the bath haven't changed since 1962....kind of defines the state the clubs in really ...talk about no inward investment for a few decades!!!

Talking about Harry Wainman, I'm a bit puzzled.
Did he have a son, also called Harry, who was a goalie too,
The reason I ask is that I just happened to come across a programme from a Town pre-season friendly against Sunderland in 1980, 3 years after Harry retired.
On the back of the programme in the team lineups at the end of the Town team it lists Harry Wainman. It's back when they used to include a line or two under each players name and underneath his name it says "The senior professional is determined to stake a claim for the green jersey"
Any ideas. Did he come out of retirement for 1 pre-season friendly or did he have a son who didn't make the grade. (I can't remember if he did or not)

Sounds like a misprint to me , I will ask him when I see him at golf
