And Paul Rhys.

Aggy, Futch and Rhys must have been in the same squad at least.

A hybrid keeper?

The ability of Paul Reece and the height of Rhys Wilmot?

A hell of a lot of Don Keys. A whole team of them under Newell.

Agh! Silly me.

Better than the height of Paul Reece and the ability of Rhys Wilmot. 😄

Too many players called Reece/Rhys/Rees in that era.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

I remember more than 3. According to the song listing them we had:

Harry Wainman
Harry Wainman
Harry Wainman
Harry Harry

For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Maybe the hybrid is the way forward?

The illegitimate love child of a one night threesome after a drunken bags ball , Paul Rhys , a tussle haired, olive skinned spring heeled keeper with a Welsh accent ...... even if you combined the best of both of their abilities i think you would still just end up with Paul Reece, really cant remember any great qualities that Rhys Wilmot had in his locker.
Actually forgot he had been brought through Arsenal's ranks in his earlier days...but 9 appearances for them in 12 yrs says something i suppose.

Didn't we make a profit by somehow selling Wilmot to a top division club? That was a great quality.

Or perhaps I'm just imagining that we sold him for more than he cost us?

Think we sold him to a Palace for 100k, which was the price we had paid for him.

Didn’t he take kicks off the floor with one foot, and kicks out of his hands with his other foot?
