If that's the way we have to win games to stay up that will do for me......also I thought most of the crowd stuck with the team even though it was uninspiring to watch at times.

Two poor teams for most of the game, but we kept trying, and there did seem more effort 2nd half.
Akeem is raw, but frightens teams with his presence and pace, Thomas worked tirelessly again despite no protection from a poor ref, and Woolford made a difference when he came on because he tried to make things happen.
Good for Fox to get a full game in too

Yes woolford made a big difference i thought. Ref dire, wasnt a great game but we won. Cardwell looked way off the pace, but that’ll come

A win's a win but a poor game with an even worse ref.

In a sea of mediocrity, the least culpable was Luke Hendrie with honourable mentions for Andrew Fox on his return and Harry Clifton for his second half.

Absolute disgraceful,worst i have ever seen,dog's home material,supposed to be league quality,wouldn't get a game on Hardy's rec.complete shite-that's the ref. taken care of.. The players weren't very good either today but we won-that's the main thing and gives us 3 valuable points.

Dreadful game entertainment wise but rose grabbed us 3 welcome points. Given that our strikers are so misfiring in front of goal that has got to push him towards getting more than just 10 minutes at the end of games.
Numerous bad points tho, let's not paper over the cracks. We are a poor side it has to be said.

We struggled to deal with their physicality for much of the game. Lucky to get away with yet another soft backpass.

Thomas seems to get rough treatment from defenders but the referee was terrible today; especially for the cards against Clifton and Thomas. Great delivery into the box by Fox for the goal which was a very well taken finish by Rose. I thought Pringle was missing for large parts and Vernam is much more effective when he isn't played wide.

4 consecutive clean sheets at home in the league is an achievement, just got to start picking up points away from home and then build on things in January.

But we are a side with 3 more points in the bag. That is what matters today.

Incidentally the side we knocked out of the cup last week is top of the league tonight. It is a poor league and you only need to be a bit less poor to win it.
