Some of the figures I’ve heard bounded about regarding the playing budget staggers me

Yep, certainly some serious cash flying about which you get from time to time in non league, don’t think it is sustainable tbh

I suppose it depends on how much dosh the clubs benefactor has got , but I agree the long term sustainability will be interesting

Often watch Clee Town great little ground plenty of goals.
Seen some cracking games really hope they do well.

Sunderland at home would be great on BBC aswell they would make a fortune.

Danny North and Scott Vernon upfront and Disley in midfield is pretty decent at that level.  Amazing that Danny North is still only 30.  Carrying a few pounds of extra timber but surprised he isn’t playing at a higher level.

For the televised round 1 game both sides get £67K and 45% of the gate receipts so an away tie would suit them better financially ........and so it would us to be honest.

Great bit of play from Danny North in 'serving it on a plate' for the Scott Vernon equaliser. Nice to see Craig Disley enjoying the celebrations. Refreshing footage that - particularly the sound effects on the goal slo mo's.
