Great come back in the FA Cup and they are in the draw for the final qualifying round. Now what a First Round the that would be, a chance of revenge for the pre season games.

Big ask to go back to Guiseley and win. I always feel that lower league opposition need to beat their higher division opponents at the first time of asking in the Cup. Hope they do it though.

They did it in the last round so good luck. Be good in they made the first round and got Sunderland or Bradford at home!

Guiseley have obviously lost some of their time wasting skills since they were last in the NE Lincs area.

Please don't remind me. I'm trying to forget those six years ever happened.

We beat Cleethorpes Town 5-0 in the FA Cup in 1885. I bet there was a bit of "banter" down Meggies that night. We beat Darlo 8-0 at the Abbey (pre-BP back then) 4 days later in the next round! We were non-league then of course.

You have to hand it to Cleethorpes Town, the progress they have made in such a short time is absolutely
staggering, run by a group of people  with ambition, determination and a view for the future, they really are a credit to the area.
Really  hope they can win their replay, it would be wonderful if Town could meet them in the first round..

Some of the figures I’ve heard bounded about regarding the playing budget staggers me
