I think it's agreed this team can't pass and hoofing it forward to a lightweight forward line is not the answer.
I believe Alan Buckley is involved with the under 18's. They seem to pass it a bit. Why don't they bring in Sir Alan as a consultant for a few matches, get him to take a few training sessions, get him in the dugout for matches and see how we do.
In his interview MJ said we've had 11 v 11 trying out things. Well Sir Alan had lots of 5 a side.
Maybe an idea. We have to try something.

Leave Sir Alan be. Our club legends shouldn’t have John Fenty inflicted on them anymore.

Nope, he isn't.

Think he used to help out with an age group team a few years ago and some indoor 5-a-side with the younger age groups that they used to have as optional sessions. But as far as i know, isn't involved any more.

Leave big Al to enjoy his retirement, I doubt he'd help Fenty anyway.

Supporting the Mighty Mariners for over 30 years, home town club is were the heart and soul is and it's great to be a part of it.

What's Lawrie McMenemy doing these days ?
