Absolutely jaff all on any Lincoln forum, messageboard. Twitter account or whatever is “worth a look”. Or Scunthorpe, or Hull, or Plymouth or The Moon 2nd XI.
Honestly can’t understand the sad acts spending their time worrying about what someone else is saying about the club. The problem with the club is clear, has been for nigh on two decades now but you’ve still people tonguing Fenty’s ring.
What’s “worth a look” is the club accounts, where you can see how much he’s put in over the last 5 years and where our “football fortune” is going.

Is the answer around minus £300,000? Think this year's accounts are out now.

I don’t give a toss what they say or do, every dog has it’s day and every team has it’s season in the sun. Their bad times will come.

Started to read it some divvy saying the Cowleys are achieving what Sir Alan Buckley MBE, GTFC and bar achieved here. WTF under A.B. we were a championship side beating the likes of Wolves, ManCity, Blackburn, Chelsea etc. They are nowhere near that level, poor deluded sods gave up reading it after that

I find myself agreeing with Ska (must be getting old) ! I don’t give a fig about what other teams think. But I do understand our noisy neighbors crowing a bit. For the first time I can seriously recall they are in a far better place than us. That’s on and off the pitch. So why shouldn’t they enjoy it. Of course, if we realise our own potential we will once again leave them in our shadow. But until then, let them have their moment. Let’s be honest if we powered above Ull and they imploded like we have, we’d be gobbing off too.

Though they are a complete set of w@nkers the word “ divvy” has a bit of history and does not sit well with many. And I fully agree they’ve got a way to go before they can be considered to achieve what AB did in terms of promotions and quality of football. Remember at the moment they enjoy cracking one out over St Danny whenever they can!

When we were a championship side I don't recall any threads on here or the original fishy gloating over Lincoln, Scunthorpe or Hull struggling.

When we were in the Championship I didn’t even know we had a ‘rivalry’ with Lincoln. Born in the mid 80s Id grown up in the county of Humberside and Lincoln were a tiny club in the bottom tier.
And hey do you know what? We’re both now in the bottom tier. They’re not towering above us.

I don't recall the internet being invented when we were last in the championship!! Football is all about gloating when you're up and your rivals are losing, and I'm sure everyone on here loved it when Lincoln were struggling I can remember being disgusted when we lost to Scunny when their resurgence started because we'd been superior for years. However, it all goes in cycles so let the Gimps enjoy their moment in the sunshine because it will turn

When we were in the Championship and both Lincoln and Scunthorpe were bottom feeders like us now, I don't remember anyone talking about them or even acknowledging they existed, in fact the only time you heard their team names mentioned was when we loaned someone out. Obviously the deep rooted bitterness has come from them seeing GTFC operate way above their odd shaped heads since their clubs were formed, Scunthorpe are especially bitter because we voted them into the league, we allowed them to exist they never earned the right. Since the Grim reaper that is Fenty we have plummeted and given these no marks a chance to get out of our shadow and enjoy a bit of sunshine, do they get the sun tan out and enjoy the sun, no they crawl back into the shadows and try and poke the shadow saying we are better than you. That's why they are all pasty faced and are always gurning, bitterness does that to you.

It's these kind of expressions that cause the moderators problems and make the poster look such and idiot. By all means fail to agree with those fans who support JF but these kind of statements drag you and this site into the gutter. I am by no means a supporter of JF but resorting to this kind of language is totally uncalled for.

As has been mentioned , how ironical! I should imagine Scunthorpe and Lincoln were both instrumental in us retaining our league status in 1969 when we had to seek re-election! As far as voting them into the league in the first place I would imagine the financial aspect was the main driving force behind our vote. In the early 1950's our home gates against Scunthorpe were well into 5 figures and some over 20,000 when we played against them in Division 3 N . Even prior to their admittance into the league when our reserves played their first team the gates were much higher than we have had in recent years.

And here we are again. Lincoln chat about Town: Allowed/Why not, we're $hit Town talk about Lincoln: Obsessed/Ironic. The only irony is that this is a fookin' discussion board, yet certain discussion is picked apart and labelled as obsessive and ironic by posters who then post something ironic and obsessive. Irony
