It’s a cheap squad and he’s gone out not to lose.

It is worth remembering that he has had very few games as a professional manager. Us being shite is not a new problem and it isn’t caused by Jolley. He might not be a success but I reckon we must be one of the hardest jobs in the football league.

The board are the problem and have been for a long time. I fancied us to struggle this season and I feel he’s been set up to fail.

Agreed. Thomas and Vernam up front, Embleton wide. Maybe have a shot or 2.

MJ is hell bent on over complicating it. Maybe that’s what the UEFA pro licence tells you, but do Lincoln try and play overly extravagant formations and tactics?

Of course not. They’re organised and well drilled. And at L2 that’s all you need to be.

Get back to bloody basics, play players in their natural
Positions and try and win a game of football.

That’s all the fans ask for.

This emphasises how desperately unlucky we have been with injuries, I mean I can't imagine any sides carry a third left back at this level. Doesn't excuse how poor we've been but  the injury situation has no doubt contributed to it.
