Many happy returns

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Is the Albion still open ? As a 16 year old Louth lad I used to go in there with an old mate from town as the land lady would happily serve us . I will always remember to the day I die a fat illegitimate walking in and shouting give us a pint of tarmac yer slag to her .

We didn’t behave like that in Louth.

Had many a good night in Louth in the 60's,

It had the proud record of having the most pubs in the country based on the towns population.

Dave Boylen said they often got off the train when playing away to have the last hour or so in Louth.
